The Winston tour of 2015 is buzzing with high-tech, high – enjoyment technology: eighteen stops in the most beautiful cities in Italy, dedicated to partying and glamour! For YouEvents we’ve created and set up four interactive installations dedicated to the cities celebrated by the brand: Dubai, Berlino, Paris and San Francisco. Four spaces to play, create and be the protagonist, in groups or one-to-one, using webcam, kinect, joypads and tablets. An exciting trip which is recorded and automatically sent to players, who thus receive in real time and in absolute transparency a unique and personal record of their experience.

Light Graffiti

Five persons, using fictitious 3D printed spray cans, “paint” with the light on a wall in rear projection to form a design. A custom software trace the xyz position of the spray cans and react on the projection with a spray-pixeled effect. Based on the position of the spray they compose in real time several sounds to form a melody every time various and dependent on the whole design. By remote interface on tablet the design is next erased for new attendees.

The app , jointly to the beacons (positioned in the premises in specific points), activate functions on the basis of the localisation of the user, returning an interactive and much more involving exploration of any closed space. Functionalities are provided out of the box specifically designed for shops, fairs and events, that can be implemented with new tools specifically developed on the customer needs. The app is totally customizable and ready for branding.

MyBeacon

For the launch of the new Lancia Ypsilon, we have created, in collaboration with Seac02 a configurator for iPad, to allow customers to customize the car, and access in a quickly, intuitively and amazing way to all the features of the vehicle.

We transformed a wine bar into a penny arcade! For one evening an entire wall , usually given over to the display of wine and other products, became a giant flipper game in video mapping for anyone drinking in the bar who wished to play a fabulous arcade game of decidedly unusual proportions. We kept the original decorations and used the stuff on the walls, transforming them into “buffers”. At different points in the evening and depending on the need for a softer atmosphere, the wall could be changed into an aquarium or a dynamic game between the real exhibit and its optical version.

Digital creativity at Maison&Object Paris, the biggest international fair in the decoration and design sector. For “PositiveCauses”, famous for its products made from recycled consumer goods, an entire wall in 3D videomapping substitutes the classic display of lights, prints and exhibitors. We transformed the stand into a cinema, with sixty boxes making up a screen for three-dimensional projection.

Vinitaly

We’ve been at the international wine fair “Vinitaly” with a stage set we have created in projection mapping for Kubedesign, an Italian brand noted for their excellence in producing objects in cardboard. The space, restricted in size but with great visibility, forms a lounge which, dressed in ever-changing colours, themes and materials takes on a life of its own and shows the extreme versatility of decorative options. Instead of being a printed surface this neutral cardboard , light and eco-sustainable, transforms itself into a screen upon which anything can be projected and even the most distracted audience’s attention is captured by this dynamic form of presentation.

For the presentation of the new experimental ESA Shuttle (unfortunately banned to filming), video mapping first emphasizes the design , and then mark the takeoff, orbit and splashdown. Two rear panels with projections synchronously recreate the environment in which “moves” the shuttle.

Navetta ESA Spazio

The big challenge was to create in 3D real time a full working paint factory on 3 floors for Geico. Every technical detail of the factory has been recreated to show to the customers in a CAVE projection system the whole panting process, from the pretreatments to the very painting, manual an robotized. The completely freedom of movement, technical specifics to show on demand and the spatial audio give the perfetc idea of the environment and the immersive illusion. Next we realized a Virtual Reality version for Oculus Rift of the factory.

Geico RT

We realized the pilot project for the new italian children's cartoon "Automondo", a world inhabited by automobiles.

AutoMondo

For Geico we realized several full CGI videos, to show to their customers their patents. This one is their pretreatment line to prepare the car shells to be painted. First every shell will be immersed in several thanks cointaining special liquids to favor cataphoresis, necessary for the good seal of the paint.

Cataloghi Ideal Standard

We have realized more than 1000 (one-thousand) CGI pictures for Ideal Standard italian and european catalogs. We projected and designed every single environment with great attention to items, colors and materials to best match and enphasize the products.
